Austin’s Sixth Street – Austin, TX

Sixth street is one of the most iconic places in Austin and helped name the city "The live music capital of the world". Tons of restaurants, bars, and shops - with many of them hosting live music events every night of the week. What I've learned from locals is that Sixth street is divided into 3 parts: West Sixth, East Sixth, and most famous - Dirty Sixth.

Texas Capitol – Austin, TX

As soon as you start to head towards downtown on South Congress you can see the top of the (308 ft tall) Capitol building beautifully sticking out amongst the buildings and lights of Austin. It's located in the Historic district off on Congress and 11th street and is surrounded by 22 acres. This version was built in 1888 and is a must see if you're heading

With the advantage of being able to work remotely, my hubby and I decided to leave our expensive apartment and exhausting routine in Miami to wander in the Digital Nomad life halfway through 2015. It’s been a few months and we’re loving it so far. Here are all of the places we lived in 2015, thanks Airbnb!   Miami, Florida 2. Escazu, Costa Rica 3.

The Lookout, Playa del Coco, CR

It's called The Lookout for a reason - the view is unbeatable {hello double rainbow!} Overlooking Playa del Coco's lush greenery and ocean inlet from above paired with delicious food is a recipe for success! We went several times during our stay in Playa del Coco, enjoying the views, the Oysters, and the Craft Beers. Skip the lobster grilled cheese and order all of the yummy

Ziplining in Costa Rica

You MUST add ziplining to your bucket list if you're traveling to Costa Rica!!! I was terrified and it didn't help that the staff kept making jokes about us swaying up in the trees, but afterwards I was so happy that I didn't chicken out! Swinging through the forest with incredible views of the ocean is exhilarating. You can and must experience it!!! :D There are ziplining options

Llanos de Cortez Waterfall, CR

Llanos de Cortez Waterfall is a secret gem that's mostly Ticos. It's about 30 minutes from Liberia Airport and 1 hour from Playa del Coco, Costa Rica - an easy day trip. Did I mention it's FREE? A small donation to a local school ($2) and $5 parking opens up a day of exploring at this beauty. You can enjoy swimming in the water, a

Driving from Playa Danta to Playa del Coco, CR

For the majority of the places we visited in Costa Rica, we easily found routes through Google Maps. I think because we visited bigger cities/touristy areas - we luckily only had a couple of SCARY times without service/maps. So here we are again traveling easily with Google {wee!} but I didn't expect the route to be so crazy! TIP: If you are heading from one Guanacaste

Discovery Green, Downtown Houston, TX

Discovery Green is a beautiful 12-acre park and entertainment space in the heart of Downtown Houston. They have local free events almost every day "aiming to promote health and happiness". We went on Saturday night and found lots of local vendors, food trucks, talented artists, and a fun live band. The park was also sponsoring a large dog event {see dog pool in last picture}. No matter what age you

Midtown was the place most recommended for us to visit in Houston, so we headed over for Sunday Funday! All of the restaurants and bars were packed and full of red, white, and blue for the Texan's Sunday NFL game. You can easily restaurant and barhop around as they are all walking distance from each other. Everyone was right... I liked this area a lot - a nice
