Let the new adventures begin!!! This past weekend marked my 1 year anniversary at SIC Digital. Quitting my job a year ago was the scariest and greatest thing that I’ve done in a long time. I graduated with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Business. Finding “my dream job” right out of college as a Buyer was huge! As time went by I was no longer happy there as I was overworked, underpaid, and driving 45 minutes in traffic everyday. After failing to find the position at another company (very limited in South Florida – most Buying jobs are in NYC or LA) I considered other options. It was pretty terrifying to jump into another field that I knew quite little about, but I’m SO thankful and blessed to have had this opportunity to explore. This past year has been nothing short of amazing – I’ve watched myself grow as well my accounts in my hubby’s company, with many happy clients!

I must make nerve-racking decisions this time of year, as we have decided to move out of our apartment & start traveling. Our first spot is Costa Rica! Instead of calling it a move, I like to say that we are adventuring as we don’t plan on staying in one spot too long. And yes, our pup child {Riley} is coming too! The last time I felt like this was almost 10 years ago when I traveled 8 hours away from my family and friends to Tallahassee to attend Florida State University barely knowing 3 people. Let’s just say – it was well worth it AND brings back some of the best memories and life lessons! There’s not a lot of explanation besides the fact that we want to get out and explore. To be able to work remotely and still journey abroad is an amazing opportunity that we are both SO excited about!
