After a few months of living in the straight Thailand jungle {lol, not really…but kind of for this city girl!}, we decided to head back to the convenient city life. Ubers, food delivery, walkable areas, yasss! We’ve decided to spend two months in Vietnam’s biggest city, Ho Chi Minh City {formerly known as Saigon}. This month we lived in District 7, which is the newest district of Ho Chi Minh City, with lots of luxury high rises, fancy malls, and large streets. A lot of the areas {like Crescent Mall} reminded me of South Florida!!
After living on airbnb for over a year now, it’s easy to spot out what I’m looking for in a monthly rental. This airbnb fit a lot of the requirements! It’s super cute and cozy and has great, {bright} views of the city from all of the windows. Here are some pics of the apartment and neighborhood.
Some of my favorite things nearby in District 7:
- Vivocity Mall
- Crescent Mall
- Lotte Mart {grocery and movie theatre walking distance, down the street}
- Beauty Salon Tóc Mới – touched up my blonde roots nicely!
