If you’re in the downtown Miami area and looking for a delicious place to dine – you want to check out NIU Kitchen. Don’t let its tiny door and quiet neighborhood fool you, this Catalan cuisine is rich and flavorful (and effortlessly romantic).
It’s a narrow rustic space consisting of one refurbished wood wall and one chalk board wall, high ceilings, low lighting, and Spanish tapas. They suggested ordering two plates per person as seen written in chalk behind us. Check out all of the mouthwatering dishes we devoured below.
STEAK TARTARE
OUS – Poached eggs, truffled potato foam, Jamón Ibérico, summer black truffle
WAHOO TARTARE – Cucumber, scallions, lime zest
PA AMB TOMÀQUET
We started with the cheese plate and ordered several other plates. I would recommend all of them and will return to try more. Best part – it’s walking distance from me. 🙂
XO,
The Britique
