Saturday was Michael’s birthday so we ventured out of Las Catalinas for a day of relaxation and fun! It’s hard to get out of Las Catalinas or around the area without a car – there’s only 1 taxi here and he’s sketched out on us 2 times now {ugh!} After a rough start and finally getting a taxi sent by the hotel, we were on our way to a birthday celebration with massages and pool time at Bahia del Sol!

After the sunset we headed back to Las Catalinas to have some cake with our friends from Limonada.

Bahia del Sol Review

What I liked:

  • Front desk was friendly & helpful
  • Massages were great and really reasonably priced!
  • Large pool and lots of lounge chairs/seating surrounding the pool and ocean
  • There were barely any other people there, so we basically had the pool and the beach area all to ourselves (it’s green season)

What I disliked:

  • The only thing I could complain about is the servers were rude at the restaurant/pool area. Something I’m used to in Miami but have not come across the past 2 months in Costa Rica.

Overall I would recommend Bahia del Sol for a relaxing massage and a drink during sunset.

XO,

The Britique
